Andrews, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She works with adults with a clinical focus on affective disorders, women's issues, and couples counseling. Ms. Andrews is also the director of Focused Solutions for Recovery, an outpatient substance abuse program that offers services in both Chesterfield and Petersburg. John P. Dwyer, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with a general practice treating children, adolescents, adults, and couples. He received his doctorate from the University of Arkansas where he specialized in child and developmental psychology. Dr. Dwyer's areas of clinical focus include child and adloescent behavior problems, attention-deficit disorders, school problems, anger control in children and adolescents, and affective disorders in adults and children. Monica K. Shaw, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience in both short and long-term psychotherapy. She earned her doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. Dr. Shaw treats older adolescents and adults presenting with a wide range of problems including grief and life transition difficulties. She has experience with breathing techniques and mindfulness practices to reduce stress. Robert D. Wadsworth, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who received his doctorate from Utah State University in 1982. He has a general practice providing psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and the elderly, and performing psychological testing. Dr. Wadsworth has particular interest and experience in anxiety problems, stress management, emotional adjustment, cognitive-behavioral therapy, coping with pain, and the behavioral treatment of headaches. Lloyd C. Chaser, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned his degree from Virginia Commonwealty University. His clinical focus has been primarily with children, adloescents, and families. Mr. Chaser has worked in a variety of settings inclucing inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and youth education facilities for emotionally disturbed children. He has additional clinical experience with substance abuse issues and marital/couples counseling. Elizabeth A. Novak, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degreee from Virginia Commonweatlh Unversity. Lisa treats adults with a variety of clinical concerns including mood disorders, anxiety, childhood abuse, trauma, grief, and posttraumatic stress. She has special interests in the mind-body connection and working with individuals and couples who are experiencing difficult life transisitons. Jessica L. McLeod, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a child and family therapist working with ages 2 and up, and specializing in trauma, child abuse, foster care, adoption, attachment and adjustment issues, grief and bereavement, behavior management, coping skills, and complications related to medical issues such as diabetes, CF, and HIV/AIDS. Sandra K. Jenkins, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She works with children, adolescents, and families, and has specific training in family play therapy and filial family therapy. Her areas of clinical experience include child abuse, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, ADHD, grief, and play therapy. Patricia D. Vaughan, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and works with individuals, children, and families. Ms. Vaughan's areas of special interest include women's issues, making life changes, mood disorders, loss, substance addiction, parenting, blended families, and adolescent behavior problems. David L. Epstein, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned his doctorate at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is trained in both internsive and brief psychotherapy to treat adolescents and adults with psychological problems including mood, eating, and personality disorders. Dr. Epstein provides comprehensive psychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. He also provides forensic assessment including competency to stand trial and sanity at the time of the offense evaluations. Emily D. Clark, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her masters degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She primarily works with children, adolescents, and families. Mrs. Clark's areas of expertise include grief and loss, behavioral problems, anger management/control concerns, self-esteem, depression, ADHD, coping skills, and social skill development. Nina E. Marino, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She works primarily with children, adolescents, and their families.
