HIPAA stands for the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. Originally
designed to insure that employees could purchase health care insurance
after losing it to employment change. HIPAA is now a much broader
federal mandate to insure patient confidentiality for medical records
and privacy. |

Privacy Policies
