Marci Carey Andrews, LCSW
is a
licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from Virginia
Commonwealth University. She works with adolescents and adults with a
clinical focus on substance abuse, affective disorders, and women’s
issues. Ms. Andrews supervises her substance abuse treatment program
in several locations.
Joy A. Davis, LCSW,
is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who
completed her master's degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in
1987. Since that time she has provided individual, family, and
group therapies for adolescents and adults in primarily outpatient and
hospital settings. Her areas of special interest include eating
disorders, affective disorders, and women's issues.
John P. Dwyer, PhD is a licensed
clinical psychologist with a general practice treating children,
adolescents, adults, and couples. He received his doctorate from
the University of Arkansas where he specialized in child and
developmental psychology. Dr. Dwyer’s areas of clinical focus
include child and adolescent behavior problems, anger problems in
adolescence, attention deficit disorders, domestic violence, panic
disorders, and affective disorders in adults and children. He
also does psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults.
Monica K. Shaw, PhD
is a licensed
clinical psychologist who earned her doctoral degree from the
California School of Professional Psychology at Los Angeles. Dr. Shaw
treats children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range
of problems including anxiety, depression and childhood adjustment
disorders. She also works well with shy individuals of
any age, and has extensive experience with play therapy.
Robert D. Wadsworth, PhD
is a
licensed clinical psychologist who earned his doctorate from Utah
State University. He works with adults, adolescents, and the
elderly; with particular interests in anxiety, stress
management, emotional adjustment, couples therapy, and the behavioral
treatment of headaches. He also conducts psychological
evaluations for adolescents and adults.
Christine Glasser-Lamps Sutherland, LCSW,
is a licensed clinical social worker who
earned her degree from the University of Michigan where she had
extensive training in group treatments. Ms. Sutherland's area of
clinical focus include treating children of divorce, co-parenting, and
step-family issues; children and adolescents coping with anxiety,
depression or other emotional difficulties; couples treatment; and
women's issues.
Melissa B. Turner, LCSW,
is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from
Virginia Commonwealth University. Her specialties include
treatment of behavior and mood disorders as well as anxiety and trauma
related issues. Populations treated include children,
adolescents, adults and families. Play therapy is a
specialty treatment modality. Her experience includes crisis
intervention and acute residential and foster care settings.
Elizabeth A. Novak, LCSW,
is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from
Virginia Commonwealth University. She provides individual,
family, couples, and play therapy. Her areas of clinical
expertise include developmental and mental health issues in children,
trauma, and domestic violence.

professional counselor who earned her degree from Virginia
Commonwealth University, specializing in Substance Abuse treatment and
education. She works with adolescents and adults focusing on substance
addiction and use, PTSD/trauma/loss, anxiety,
depressive disorders, grief, women’s issues, relationships and
boundaries.
Donna W. Waldron, LPC
,
is a licensed professional counselor who
earned her degree from Radford University. She works with
children, adolescents, adults and families and works with a wide range
of emotional and behavioral problems. She also specializes in
therapeutic art interventions.
John Kent Horton, Ph.D., LPC,
is a licensed professional counselor and
marriage and family therapist. He received his doctorate in
marriage and family counseling from William and Mary. He treats
children, adolescents and their families. Problems addressed
include academic difficulties, behavioral problems, family
dysfunction, and substance abuse.
Lloyd C. Chaser, LCSW, is a licensed
clinical social worker who earned his degree from Virginia
Commonwealth University. His clinical focus has been primarily with
children, adolescents, and families. Mr. Chaser has worked in a
variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, partial
hospitalization, and youth education facilities for emotionally
disturbed children. He has additional experience with substance abuse
issues and marital/couples counseling.

is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned his degree from
Liberty University. Mr. Haskell treats children, adolescents,
adults, and families. His areas of clinical focus include
depression, anxiety disorders, abuse/trauma, family problems,
behavioral disorders in children and adolescents, anger management,
and attention deficit disorders.
Tracey C. Hunter, LCSW,
is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from
Virginia Commonwealth University. Her specialties include
treatment of children and adolescents who have been victims or
witnesses of violence and traumatic events. In addition, she
works with individuals with PTSD, anxiety, and behavioral problems.
